Not long after leaving the Durban cityscape behind you we start seeing the rolling hills of Zululand opening up in front of us, dotted with traditional Zulu homesteads.
Our first leg of the journey takes about 3 Hours to the Zululand Explorers base camp situated in a Big 5 game reserve in Northern Kwazulu- Natal. This beautiful rustic tented camp was perfectly designed to bring us closer to nature. With outdoor showers and no cell reception, one does not have a choice other than to forget about the outside world.
We spend the next two days exploring the wilderness around us on foot with your knowledgeable and trained nature guide showing you the hidden secrets of nature and the evenings under the stars around a crackling campfire.
